Habitat Personnel values its key partnerships with a range of government departments and other organisations, including:

• Shoalhaven City Council
• The NSW Department of Commerce
• Shoalhaven Business Chamber
• NSW Attorney General's Department
• Nowra Youth Services Inc.

By combining strengths in partnership, a number of vital initiatives have been successfully launched in the Shoalhaven, including the Nowra Youth Centre and the Shoalhaven Safe Community Aboriginal Partnership.

This strength continues today, with the construction of the South Coast Correctional Centre being one of the next important initiatives on the horizon.

New Careers for Aboriginal People (NCAP):

• A free service of the NSW government.
• Appropriately qualified and experienced job seekers are referred to fill vacancies.
• Employers also gain access to training services at the NSW Department of Education and Training.
• Job placements are monitored to ensure positive outcomes for all.
