Koori Habitat's Night Patrol is a preventative strategy aimed at getting young people home and off the streets. The Night Patrol operates out of the Nowra Youth Centre, four nights per week -- from Wednesday through Saturday.

The Patrol reaches children and youth they meet on our streets at night, and returns them safely to their homes. The Night Patrol supports our homeless youth, and also those at risk of becoming homeless.

The Night Patrol also supervises young people at the Youth Centre, enabling its drop-in hours to be extended till late, four nights a week.

The Patrol provides transport home for young people during the Centre's operating hours and after it closes: a valuable service, since our area lacks appropriate and cost effective public transport.
